Bike Paths, Pandemic Traffic, Chipmunks and Squirrels

I biked four times this past week. There was a very noticeable uptick in path traffic, a combination of the nice weather and being a Sunday.

A small break from the comet and stars and planets.

The picture may fool a bit, as this scene of a descending Sun overshadowed by incoming Western clouds gives no indication of how hot the day was.

Still going backwards and catching up on items from the past weeks. Last Sunday I took a walk and found the early Waning Crescent Moon.

But I figured if you’re going to do it, might as well be done on the shortest daylight day of the year.

Welcome to October. This morning showcased interesting cloud formations highlighted by reflections from the rising Sun.

These may be becoming redundant, but it was yet another great morning for capturing the daytime Moon.
