This week continues to provide very clear evening skies. The Moon is now above Venus, and tonight was in proximity to Castor and Pollux, of the Constellation Gemini. Astrophotography-wise, I decided to image only the Moon, at 14% illumination, in comparison to the 6.4% illumination two nights ago. The “higher” Moon makes telescope alignment and focusing easier, plus avoids looking through logarithmically less atmosphere.
