It is important to take sky viewing opportunities when you can. Tonight’s incredibly warm temperature (80 degrees Fahrenheit) combined with a clear night dominated by the approaching Full Moon was ideal for getting the telescope outside for the second time this week.
I heard a rumor of an imminent Lunar Eclipse; I will keep my fingers crossed for agreeable weather on Sunday, although the forecast is predicting a nail-biter by the time the eclipse starts, with overcast clouds changing to clear around 10 p.m. local time.
