Turbulent Spring

There is a saying that there are no new ideas, and this post will not disprove that view.

Ducks are no strangers to these pages. They are a familiar presence, and here they are again, captured on a walk this afternoon.

I spotted several groups of mallards along the way, though most remained tucked away in the brush near the shore. I chose to leave them undisturbed, knowing they were content in their cover—and likely too hidden to make for compelling photographs anyway.

From my perspective, these two are more than just a subject; they are a sign. As we emerge from such a long and at times brutally cold winter, they serve as a gentle reminder that spring is finally near. Here’s to the changing season and the promise of more time spent outdoors.

I am the founder and creative director of Computer Looking Up. I have been fascinated by space since childhood. My interest in technology also runs deep, rooted in fond memories of the CRT-anchored desktops my father tinkered with in the early 1980s. Professionally, I have spent over 30 years immersed in the technology sector, serving in capacities ranging from programming and IT to project management. Outside of work, my passions lie in astrophotography, astronomy, and philosophy. Through ComputerLookingUp.com, I explore these interests and aim to build a community where we can share insights—I hope you will join the conversation.
