Astronomy and Blog Update, March 2023

On the astrophotography front, whenever I have a window over the next few weeks, I plan to get my 127mm Mak-Cass outside after Dusk to view and photograph Venus. I have not explored the second planet for several years and do not want to miss this opportunity.

Aside from the Venus objective, I will play the evening sky by ear. With my busy work schedule and other commitments, I sometimes simply do not have time to even go outside at night with binoculars. Once the weather gets warmer, weekends will be important for me, to try at least one astronomy session per week, even if that does not result in images to post.

In more general blog items, I am attempting to post more frequently, daily if I can keep it up. The topics will be anything I feel like talking about. This site is, after all, a web log, a journal, and working to provide daily updates, no matter how brief, shall be an exercise in personal writing discipline. To set bounds, I hope to post between 2 and seven times per week. Let’s see how it goes!
